This is a snowshoe hike.  Snowshoes are mandatory.

Non-members are welcome.  Non-members are required to contact the hike leader no later than 6 pm the evening prior to discuss whether this hike is suitable for you.

7-8 km; ~2.5hrs; Moderate pace; this area is fairly hilly and with the amount of snow, it will be a moderately challenging hike not suitable for beginners

Dagmar North, part of the East Duffins Headwaters, has a wealth of trails that are largely untouched this time of year when the snow falls, and the snow this year is plentiful, deep and spectacularly beautiful!  Trekking without snowshoes would be very challenging.    

PARKING:  Parking is angled roadside and very limited, particularly this time of year with the snowbanks left by the ploughs.  We may plan to meet and carpool from Coppins Corners (Brock & Goodwood Rd).  I will watch registration numbers and advise before noon on Thursday.
